Well I try not to call it dieting because if I do I am destined to fail. I like to think of it as better food choices and weight loss would be a bonus.
My daughter is a big girl, like a BIG girl. She has Crohns disease that has caused her many years of torment and grief. One of the many casualties has been her weight and the challenges of trying to eat healthy when you have a bowel disease, Crohns is a terrible disease. She has struggled with her weight for a very long time and it is now effecting her heart. Ever since she had the second jab her heart condition has gotten worse, so it’s time to take action and lose this weight and help take the pressure off her heart. Of course I am giving her support by being on the “not the diet” with her.
So I bought us some products from Modere that other women were having great success with. It is a syrup and tablet combination that helps suppress your appetite, speed up your metabolism and give you healthy joints and skin. From the website…

Well I haven’t noticed a drastic reduction in weight but it’s only day 5, I have a long way to go. My daughter has lost 8.5 kilos in almost 2 weeks so she is very happy and likes using the product, it has definitely helped. She is strict with her calories as well where as I am more… meh, calories shmalories! I do however only eat what is good for us, no take away and no sweets so, that, on it’s own, is a good achievement. I can tell you this though, my arthritis in my joints all over my body has significantly reduced and that is worth the money.
I will keep you updated with my journey, especially because I am so undisciplined but it might help someone else out there who is also struggling with losing weight in their 50’s!
